Funzione e contesto tecnico

Questo lavamotore funge da elemento di tenuta e distribuzione del carico tra le superfici metalliche nel blocco motore fuoribordo OMC, prevenendo perdite di liquidi e proteggendo i componenti adiacenti dall'usura dovuta ad attriti e vibrazioni. È integrato nel gruppo motore come elemento di tenuta o supporto nei giunti filettati o strutturali, garantendo che la pressione di serraggio sia distribuita uniformemente senza danneggiare le superfici in alluminio o acciaio con cui entra in contatto. Un deterioramento di questa rondella può provocare perdite di olio o acqua, allentamento degli elementi di fissaggio e danneggiamento progressivo delle filettature o della testata, compromettendo l'integrità generale del motore.

Quando sostituire questa parte?

Le rondelle motore tendono a deformarsi, schiacciarsi o corrodersi nel tempo, soprattutto in ambienti marini dove l'esposizione al sale e ai cicli termici ne accelerano il degrado; I sintomi più comuni sono la comparsa di macchie di umidità o olio attorno ai punti di fissaggio e la perdita della coppia di serraggio sui relativi bulloni. Si consiglia di ispezionare queste rondelle durante ogni manutenzione stagionale e di sostituirle ogni volta che viene smontato il gruppo a cui appartengono, poiché il loro riutilizzo dopo il precedente serraggio potrebbe compromettere la tenuta. Cambiarlo preventivamente durante un'ispezione programmata è l'opzione più economica ed evita guasti dovuti a perdite durante la navigazione.
