Function and technical context

Seapower Cleaner & Wax is a dual action cleaning and waxing product specially formulated for marine surfaces exposed to demanding marine conditions: salt water, intense UV radiation, scale deposits, algae and fuel residue. It acts in a single pass, removing embedded dirt and simultaneously depositing a protective layer of wax that seals and polishes gelcoat, fiberglass, polyurethane paint and other common surfaces on boat hulls and superstructures. Its regular use maintains the surface finish in optimal conditions, preserves the color and delays oxidation and deterioration caused by continued exposure to the marine environment. The concentrated formulation in 1 liter format, with reference SPCW1, allows you to cover a large surface area with reduced product consumption.

When to apply this product?

The most common sign that the hull or deck needs treatment with a cleaner & wax is the appearance of a matte and opaque finish, yellowish or gray stains due to oxidation of the gelcoat, or the tactile sensation of roughness on surfaces that were previously smooth to the touch. It is recommended to apply at the beginning and end of each nautical season as part of standard preventive maintenance, and also after prolonged periods of navigation or stay in port with high sun exposure. Treating the surface before the oxidation is very advanced greatly facilitates the restoration of the shine and extends the useful life of the finish, avoiding costly abrasive polishing or repainting work.
