Volvo Penta Exhaust Elbow 3863061 – Gaskets and Screws Included
The exhaust elbow is one of the components most exposed to corrosion on Volvo Penta inboard engines. This piece channels the exhaust gases mixed with the cooling water towards the system outlet, withstanding extreme temperatures and permanent contact with salt water. Its deterioration causes water leaks inside the collector and serious damage to the engine.
This 7.75" tall elbow is compatible with a wide range of Volvo Penta V6 and V8 engines manufactured after 1993. The kit includes gaskets and complete hardware for direct installation with no additional purchases required.

Installation Recommendations
Before installing the new elbow, completely remove any remains of the old gasket from the manifold and clean the mating surfaces. Use the new gaskets included in the kit and tighten the screws in a cross sequence to the torque recommended by Volvo Penta. After assembly, start the engine and check that there are no water or gas leaks in the elbow-manifold connection. It is recommended to check the condition of the elbows every season and inspect the interior to detect corrosion before it becomes irreversible.
