This 10W-30 lubricant for 4-stroke engines acts directly in the lubrication system of the outboard engine, forming a protective film on the crankshaft, camshaft, pistons and bearings that minimizes metal wear during cold starting and under full load. Its formulation with Premium base and highly refined additives guarantees a stable viscosity in the changing conditions of the marine environment, where water temperature and engine load constantly vary. Anti-corrosion protection is especially relevant in saline environments, where the internal metals of the engine block are exposed to corrosive agents through humidity and combustion gases. When to replace this oil?

Symptoms that your 4-stroke outboard motor oil needs changing immediately include a dark or cloudy color on the dipstick, foam or milky consistency (a sign of water ingress), a burning smell, or unusually high oil consumption between maintenance. In 4-stroke outboard engines, it is recommended to change the oil every 100 hours of use or at the beginning of each nautical season, whichever comes first, following the engine manufacturer's instructions.
