The KGF25 aluminum propeller anode with Ø38 mm coupling diameter acts as a galvanic sacrifice in the boat's cathodic protection system, absorbing electrolytic corrosion that would otherwise attack the noble metals of the propulsion assembly. Made of high-purity aluminum alloy, this anode is designed to be mounted directly on the propeller shaft of Vetus propulsion systems, protecting it along with the propeller, stern tube and other submerged metal components.
