The Radice stainless steel washer for 22 to 25 mm shafts acts as a load distribution and sealing element in the propeller drive assembly, interposing a bearing surface between the fixing nut and the shaft hub or horn. It works directly on the engine torque transmission system, ensuring that the tightening of the nut is distributed evenly and that the propeller is correctly seated on the shaft. The stainless steel construction gives it superior resistance to marine corrosion, both in saltwater and freshwater environments, something essential in a component that remains submerged throughout the entire navigation season.
