Function and technical context

This maintenance kit brings together in a single set all the consumables and wear parts necessary to perform a complete service on Suzuki outboard engines of the DF70A, DF80A and DF90A series. It integrates components that act in different critical engine systems: the water cooling system (water pump kit), lubrication (oil filter), ignition (spark plug), fuel supply (fuel filter) and galvanic protection of the powertrain (anode). The gaskets, the O-ring and the locking pin guarantee the tightness and correct assembly of the assemblies intervened during the inspection. Having all these elements in a single kit simplifies maintenance planning and ensures that no wear component is left unrenewed during tune-up.

When to replace this part?

The maintenance interval recommended by Suzuki for the DF70A, DF80A and DF90A models is annual or every 100 hours of navigation, whichever criteria is met first. Symptoms that indicate that one of the components included has reached the limit are: engine overheating or insufficient cooling flow (worn water pump impeller), dirty or degraded oil with a clogged filter, starting difficulties or irregular fuel consumption (spark plug or fuel filter in poor condition) and visible signs of corrosion on the shaft or gearbox (depleted anode). Performing the complete replacement of all these elements at each seasonal inspection is the most effective way to prevent serious breakdowns and costly unscheduled shutdowns at sea.
