Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2 Anode Kit – Aluminum Cathodic Protection
Anodes are essential sacrificial components in any submerged marine propulsion. This kit provides the comprehensive cathodic protection necessary for the Mercruiser Alpha One Generation II system, preventing galvanic corrosion that deteriorates the casing, trim tab, cavitation plate and propeller in direct contact with salt, fresh or brackish water.
Made of high purity aluminum, this kit includes all the anodes required to replace worn components, maintaining the anti-corrosion effectiveness of your drive unit. Periodic replacement of anodes is a fundamental maintenance task: experts recommend checking their condition at least once a year or when they have lost more than 50% of their material.
