Description

Aluminum Transom Anode for Mercury

The transom anode is an essential sacrificial part in cathodic protection systems for marine engines. Made of high purity aluminum, this component is mounted in the aft area of ​​the hull to protect against galvanic corrosion caused by the interaction between dissimilar metals in a saline environment. Its function is to preferentially oxidize, preserving the structural integrity of the engine and adjacent components.

This replacement part is compatible with Mercury, Mariner and Mercruiser engines, guaranteeing the same level of anti-corrosion protection as the standard equipment.
