The piston ring set is a fundamental component in the combustion chamber that ensures the tightness of the cylinder and controls the lubricant film between the piston and the cylindrical wall. This +0.50 mm oversize part is designed for engines that have been lowered or require dimensional compensation in the internal diameter of the cylinder.
The assembly is made up of compression rings and scraper rings that work together to maintain combustion gas pressure, minimize leaks and regulate the passage of lubricating oil to the crankcase. Dimensional accuracy ensures proper cylinder fit and optimal performance of the marine engine.
