It works integrated into the Racor 225 series filter-separator, a common set in pleasure boats and work boats with diesel or petrol engines that require rigorous fuel filtration. Contamination of marine fuel—especially in fiberglass tanks or in fuel with the presence of water and microorganisms—is one of the main causes of failure in injectors and high-pressure pumps; A filter element in correct condition is the first line of defense against these failures.
