The generation 2 shift cable shaft 816685 is the mechanical component responsible for transmitting the movement of the shift lever to the drive unit gear system. It is a critical piece in the gear control system that guarantees direct and precise response between the operator's command and the speed change in Mercruiser engines.
This spare part directly replaces GLM21419 and is compatible with Mercruiser references 816685, 8M0125304 and 8M0137263, ensuring full compatibility with the engines specified in the following table:
