The Volvo Zinv Anode Kit 3858399 is a complete set of zinc anodes designed for the cathodic protection of Volvo Penta propulsion systems equipped with three-blade folding propellers. Zinc anodes act as sacrificial protectors, preventing galvanic corrosion in submerged steel and ferrous alloy components through the electrochemical principle of cathodic protection. This kit ensures maximum longevity of the propulsion system by maintaining the structural integrity of the propeller and its associated elements in saline and freshwater environments.

Compatible with 163 Volvo Penta D, MD, MS, HS, ZF and 130/150 series engine models, this replacement kit ensures effective anti-corrosion protection throughout the life of the powertrain.
