Volvo 280SP Magnesium S Anode Kit CM280KITM
The Magnesium Anode Kit for the Volvo Penta 280SP provides cathodic protection against galvanic corrosion in saltwater marine propulsion systems. The magnesium anodes act as sacrificial, preferentially oxidizing to the metal components of the cooling and propulsion system, significantly extending the life of the marine engine.
This complete kit contains the anodes necessary to maintain the structural integrity of the transmission and associated components of the 280SP system, being especially critical in saltwater operations where corrosion accelerates the wear of ferrous metals and alloys.
