Fonction et contexte technique

Le stator est le composant statique du système de charge et d'allumage des moteurs hors-bord OMC, chargé de générer du courant alternatif par induction électromagnétique en interagissant avec le volant magnétique rotatif. Il fait partie du système d'allumage et de charge électrique, agissant comme un générateur primaire qui alimente la bobine de charge, le système d'allumage et la batterie via le régulateur-redresseur. Un stator détérioré compromet directement la capacité du moteur à maintenir la charge électrique, peut provoquer des ratés d'allumage intermittents et, dans les cas avancés, laisser le moteur sans démarrage ou avec une perte totale de l'alimentation électrique embarquée. Cette référence remplace la référence OMC 584849 et est compatible avec une large gamme de moteurs Johnson et Evinrude des séries 90, 100, 105 et 115 CV, couvrant des dizaines de versions et d'années de fabrication.

Quand remplacer cette pièce ?

Les symptômes les plus courants d'un mauvais stator incluent un démarrage difficile ou impossible, des ratés d'allumage sporadiques sous charge, une batterie qui ne se charge pas en croisière ou des lectures de tension irrégulières dans le système électrique du moteur. Il est conseillé de vérifier l'état du stator à l'aide d'un multimètre à chaque inspection saisonnière, notamment dans les moteurs ayant plus de cinq ans d'utilisation ou lorsque des brûlures ou de l'humidité sont détectées à l'intérieur du carter du volant moteur. Remplacer le stator de manière préventive dès les premiers signes de dégradation évite de se retrouver sans propulsion en mer et réduit considérablement le coût total de la réparation.
