Fonction et contexte technique

La pompe à carburant est le composant chargé de déplacer le carburant du réservoir vers le carburateur, en maintenant un débit et une pression constants dont le moteur a besoin pour fonctionner régulièrement. Fonctionne dans le système d'alimentation en carburant des moteurs hors-bord Johnson et Evinrude BE25, BE35, BJ25, BJ35, E25, E35, E105, J25, J35, J105, J115, SE105, SE125, SJ105 et SJ125 fabriqués entre 1997 et 2005. Une pompe en mauvais état provoque des mélanges pauvres. ou irrégulières, ce qui se traduit par des pertes de puissance, des à-coups en accélération et même des arrêts moteurs brusques en navigation. Son bon fonctionnement est donc essentiel pour garantir à la fois performances et sécurité à bord.

Quand remplacer cette pièce ?

Les symptômes les plus courants d'une pompe à carburant défectueuse dans les moteurs hors-bord sont un démarrage difficile à froid, des pertes de puissance sous charge, un ralenti instable et des à-coups à l'accélération ; Des fuites de carburant visibles peuvent également apparaître au niveau du corps de la pompe ou de ses raccords. Il est recommandé d'inspecter la pompe à carburant à chaque inspection saisonnière annuelle, en vérifiant l'état des membranes internes, des vannes et des tuyaux de raccordement, car le vieillissement du caoutchouc et les dépôts de résine du carburant accélèrent sa détérioration. Son remplacement préventif en cas de symptômes évite les pannes de propulsion en haute mer et protège le carburateur contre les approvisionnements irréguliers qui pourraient l'endommager.
