Description
Yammer 196440-02660 Zinc Anode is a cathodic protection component designed to prevent galvanic corrosion in marine engine cooling systems. This anode acts as an electrolytic sacrifice, preferably protecting itself against the base metal of the engine and its internal components exposed to salt or brackish water.
The main function of this anode is to maintain a controlled electrochemical potential in the cooling circuit, preventing premature deterioration of pipes, joints and internal elements of the engine. Its pure zinc composition provides a predictable corrosion rate and reliable protection during the boating season.
