This gasket kit is a set of precision sealing elements that guarantee tightness in the cooling and lubrication systems of 50 and 60 hp Mercury engines. The gaskets hermetically close the interfaces between cylinder blocks, crankcases, manifolds and ducts, preventing coolant and oil leaks to the outside and avoiding cross contamination between circuits. When to replace this part?

The gaskets should be checked and replaced preventively during each seasonal maintenance or if you detect oil and coolant stains around the engine gaskets, abnormal loss of coolant without visible leaks in hoses, or air bubbles in the cooling circuit after starting.
