Function and technical context
The Multi-e Inox.new Saturn 14×19 propeller is the propulsion element that transforms the power of the engine into movement of the boat through the water. Mounted directly to the driveshaft, it works in the propulsion system, generating thrust by rotating the fixed 19-inch pitch and 14-inch diameter. Its stainless steel construction gives it resistance to marine corrosion and durability in saline environments, while its clockwise rotation configuration determines the direction of travel of the boat. The integrity of the propeller is essential to maintain navigation efficiency, avoid losses of driving power and prevent cavitation that could damage the drive shaft.
When to replace this part?
A propeller should be inspected periodically for deformations, cracks, dents or erosion in the blades, which reduce grip on the water and decrease the boat's top speed. If you notice abnormal vibrations during navigation, loss of speed compared to expected performance, or visible damage to the blades after grounding or impacts, it is time to replace the propeller.
