Function and technical context

The HR Titan 3 stainless steel propeller works directly in the propulsion system of the outboard motor, being the element in charge of transforming the mechanical power of the engine into thrust on the water. With a diameter of 14.8 inches and a pitch of 18 inches, it is designed with left-hand rotation geometry, a specific configuration for installations in which the direction of rotation of the shaft is counterclockwise. The high-strength stainless steel construction gives it much greater durability than aluminum propellers, better supporting impact with submerged objects and reducing deformation under high load conditions. A poor match between the propeller and the engine can cause overspeed or underspeed of the engine, shortening its useful life and compromising the performance of the boat.
