When to replace this part?

The clearest symptom that the shaft anode has exhausted its useful life is the visible reduction in its mass: when it has lost approximately half of its volume or presents an irregular and corroded shape, it must be replaced immediately, since its protective capacity is compromised. Checking and replacing sacrificial anodes is recommended at least once a season, or more frequently in areas with particularly aggressive water or on boats that remain in the water for long periods.
