Description
Mercury Outboard Engine JET 25 ELH GA EFI
Mercury Jet: jet propulsion with no exposed propeller, ideal for shallow water.
Which boat is it for?
With 25 hp, this engine suits RIBs and boats of 4 to 5.5 metres, also with a load or several people on board. Being a Jet, it has no exposed propeller: it runs in rivers and very shallow water. The right power depends on the hull: never exceed the maximum power on your boat's capacity plate.
What the JET 25 ELH GA EFI version means
- 20" shaft (508 mm): for transoms about 51 cm high. Measure your transom before choosing; ask us if in doubt.
- Electric start and tiller: steer from the stern and start with a key or button; requires a battery.
- Gas assist (GA): a gas strut helps tilt the engine, making it easier to raise by hand.
Other versions of the Mercury Jet 25 hp
- Mercury Outboard Engine JET 25 ML EFI — manual start, tiller, no Power Trim
- Mercury Outboard Engine JET 25 ELPT GA EFI — remote control, Power Trim, gas assist
