Which boat is it for?

With 40 hp, this engine suits RIBs, runabouts and fishing boats of 5 to 6 metres. The right power depends on the hull: never exceed the maximum power on your boat's capacity plate.

What the 40 EPT EFI version means

  • 15" shaft (381 mm): for transoms about 38 cm high. Measure your transom before choosing; ask us if in doubt.
  • For mechanical remote control: driven from the console with a mechanical control and cables. The configurator shows the controls available for this engine.
  • Power Trim: adjust the engine angle at the push of a button to plane sooner, save fuel and tilt up in shallow water.
