Mercury Outboard Engine FourStroke 8 ELH EFI
Mercury FourStroke engines combine reliability, flexibility, power and efficiency.
Which boat is it for?
With 8 hp, this engine suits RIBs and small boats of 3.5 to 4.5 metres, and as an auxiliary on sailboats up to about 10 metres. The right power depends on the hull: never exceed the maximum power on your boat's capacity plate.
What the 8 ELH EFI version means
- 20" shaft (508 mm): for transoms about 51 cm high. Measure your transom before choosing; ask us if in doubt.
- Electric start and tiller: steer from the stern and start with a key or button; requires a battery.
