Mercury FourStroke engines combine reliability, flexibility, power and efficiency.
Which boat is it for?
With 4 hp, this engine suits inflatables and dinghies of 3 to 4 metres, and as an auxiliary on sailboats. The right power depends on the hull: never exceed the maximum power on your boat's capacity plate.
What the 4M version means
- 15" shaft (381 mm): for transoms about 38 cm high. Measure your transom before choosing; ask us if in doubt.
- Manual start and tiller: the lightest, simplest setup; pull-start, no battery needed to start.
