The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is a critical component in the engine management system that constantly monitors the air pressure in the intake manifold. This information allows the electronic control unit to optimize fuel injection and ignition in real time, ensuring engine performance, efficiency and stability under all operating conditions.
