Description

This Delco Mallory V8 distributor cap is a critical component of the ignition system for marine petrol engines. It distributes high-voltage current from the ignition coil to the spark plugs, ensuring precise timing of combustion in each cylinder of the V8 engine, essential for maintaining starting reliability and consistent boating performance.

Compatible with the ignition systems of leading marine propulsion brands, this distributor cap has been specified on multiple engine platforms to ensure cross-brand compatibility. Its design allows direct replacement on MerCruiser, Crusader, Pleasurecraft and OMC/Johnson/Evinrude systems without the need for adapters.
