Star Brite Mold Cleaner (ref. STA85616) is a specialized cleaning chemical designed to remove mold and mildew stains on nautical and marine surfaces. It acts directly on mold colonies embedded in boat canvas, vinyl upholstery and cushions, awnings, tile grout, cabins, shower curtains, non-slip mats and covers. Its direct action formulation penetrates the stain without the need to rub vigorously, making it a fundamental tool in the aesthetic and sanitary maintenance of any recreational boat. The continued presence of mold not only deteriorates the visual appearance of the materials, but can degrade the fibers and coatings over time, shortening their useful life.

When to use this product?

Mold appears most frequently on boats stored in humid environments or covered with tarps during the winter, as well as in poorly ventilated bathroom areas and cabins. It is recommended to apply this cleaner at the beginning and end of each nautical season as part of preventive maintenance, and whenever dark or greenish stains characteristic of mold are detected. Treating mold stains at an early stage prevents them from settling deeply and requiring more aggressive treatments that can damage materials.
