It is recommended to check and replace the spark plugs at least once per season or every 100 hours of use, reducing this interval if the engine usually operates with high loads or in high salinity environments. Getting ahead of wear by changing the spark plug preventively before starting the season is the simplest and most economical measure to prevent ignition breakdowns far from the coast.
