STAINLESS STEEL PROPELLER 15x21 LEFT 48-13703A46

Function and technical context

The left 15x21 stainless steel propeller is the direct propulsion element that transforms the engine power into hydrodynamic thrust to move the boat. Integrated into the marine transmission system, it works coupled to the engine output shaft, receiving rotation and transferring it to the water with maximum efficiency. This propeller is critical to maintaining the performance and stability of the boat, since wear, cavitation or breakage directly affects maneuverability, speed and fuel consumption, in addition to compromising navigation safety.

When to replace this part?

Propellers require regular visual inspection for cracks, warping, blade erosion, or algae and mollusk deposits that reduce performance. Typical symptoms of wear include abnormal engine vibration, loss of maximum revs, jerks when accelerating or changes in cruising behavior. It is recommended to check the propeller at least once per navigation season and replace it preventively if it shows active erosion or mechanical damage; Timely replacement prevents catastrophic breakages at sea and protects the drive shaft from overloads.
