Function and technical context

Seapower Cleaner & Wax is a cleaning and waxing product specifically formulated for boat surfaces, designed to remove embedded dirt, algae residue, sea salt and surface oxidation in a single application. It acts simultaneously as a fine-grain abrasive cleaner and as a protective wax, leaving a hydrophobic protective layer that repels water and marine contaminants. Its use is indicated on fiberglass, gelcoat, painted surfaces and hard plastics present in hulls, decks and superstructures of all types of boats. The 2-in-1 formula reduces the aesthetic maintenance time of the boat without sacrificing the final finish or the durability of the protection applied.

When to use this product?

It is recommended to apply Seapower Cleaner & Wax when your boat's gelcoat or paint shows loss of gloss, rust stains, lime deposits or a rough texture to the touch caused by prolonged exposure to UV radiation and a saline environment. It is common to carry out at least one complete application at the beginning and end of each nautical season, although in areas with high sun exposure or on boats that remain launched all year round it is advisable to repeat the treatment every two or three months. Maintaining the hull and deck with a coat of active wax prevents premature deterioration of the gelcoat, extends the life of the finish, and makes cleaning easier during subsequent maintenance sessions.
