The Volvo 3883257 seal is a critical sealing component that prevents fluid leaks in the drive axle mating area. Its function is to hermetically seal the interface between the shaft and the propeller casing, preventing losses of coolant, oil or seawater that would compromise the operation of the engine.
This seal is compatible with more than 390 Volvo Penta engine models, covering low and medium power diesel series up to large 8.1 liter displacement petrol engines, as well as IPS (Inboard Performance System) stern propulsion systems and their commercial variants. Essential component for the maintenance and repair of marine propulsion systems in recreational and commercial vessels.
