The spark plug is the component responsible for generating the electrical spark that ignites the air-fuel mixture inside the cylinder of the outboard engine, being the central element of the ignition system. The NGK BR9HS-10 spark plug is designed with a 1.0 mm electrode gap and a specific thermal gradation for two-stroke engines for nautical use, guaranteeing clean and efficient combustion in conditions of high humidity and marine environments. Poor ignition or a bad spark plug causes misfires, noticeable loss of power, increased fuel consumption and starting difficulties, which can leave the boat inoperable on the water.
