Description
This original factory replacement constitutes a cathodic protection system using galvanic sacrificial anodes, specifically designed to prevent electrochemical corrosion in submerged components exposed to the marine environment of Mercruiser engines. The aluminum anodes act as a protective barrier, preferentially rusting before critical metal parts of the propeller, while the included fixing bolts ensure a safe and stable installation.
The aluminum composition provides optimized electrochemical reactivity for both salt and fresh water, ensuring consistent defense in various navigation scenarios.
