Description
The ALUMINUM ANODE KIT 55989Q9 is a set of sacrificial anodes designed for the cathodic protection of salt water systems in MerCruiser engines. These anodes prevent galvanic corrosion on internal engine components and cooling systems, extending the life of the marine installation through controlled oxidation of aluminum instead of critical metal parts.
The high-purity aluminum composition ensures predictable consumption rate and consistent protection in saltwater, estuarine, and saline inland water environments. This kit is essential for preventative maintenance on boats with MerCruiser propulsion.
