The Mercury 2T Optimax KITMEROP225 Maintenance Kit groups together in a single set all the wear and consumption elements necessary to carry out a complete overhaul of Mercury Optimax two-stroke outboard engines with direct fuel injection. This type of engine uses DFI (Direct Fuel Injection) technology that requires filtration, lubrication and ignition components in perfect condition to guarantee correct fuel atomization, mixture stability and optimal performance of the injection system. Having a specific kit for this engine avoids incompatibilities between parts and ensures that each replaced element meets the specifications of the Optimax architecture, whose operation is closely linked to the quality of the fuel filters, transmission oil and spark plugs.
