Description
Ball Anode for Transom in Aluminum
The 55989Q9 aluminum transom ball anode is a sacrificial component designed to protect the metal structure of the vessel against galvanic corrosion in saline environments. This anode acts as an electrochemical barrier, preferentially oxidizing the noble metals of the hull, engine and submerged accessories, significantly prolonging its useful life.
The spherical geometry of this anode allows a uniform distribution of protection in the transom area, a critical area continuously exposed to the action of salt water. Its aluminum composition guarantees optimal reactivity in saltwater applications, being especially recommended for recreational and professional boats.
