Crankshaft Seal 3853341 REC3853341 for Marine Engines
The 3853341 crankshaft seal is a critical sealing component in marine petrol engines. This seal prevents oil leakage from the engine block to the outside, maintaining the integrity of the lubrication system and avoiding environmental contamination in nautical environments. Compatible with a wide range of Volvo Penta, Mercury Marine and OMC/Johnson/Evinrude engines with powers between 2.5 and 5.7 liters of displacement.

Crankshaft Seal Technical Specifications
This crankshaft seal is designed to provide a hermetic seal in the crankshaft outlet area, preventing lubricant losses to the outside of the engine. Its function is essential to maintain the correct oil pressure inside the block and prolong the life of the internal engine components. The piece acts as a barrier between the lubricated area and the outside, protecting it from the entry of water and contaminants typical of the marine environment.

This seal is compatible with multiple series of Volvo Penta engines, including AQ series (AQ205A, AQ211A, AQ231A, AQ231B, AQ271A, AQ271B, AQ271C, AQ271D, AQ311A, AQ311B), BB series (BB231A, BB261A), and 3.0 and 3.0 family engines. 4.3 in all its injection and displacement variants. It is also compatible with 5.7-liter power in petrol configuration for inboard and drive applications.

For Mercury Marine and MerCruiser systems, this seal is compatible with 2.5L, 3.0L, 3.0LX, 4.3L, 4.3LX, 5.0L, 5.0LX, 5.7L engines and their MPI, EFI and Crate Engine variants. Includes compatibility with historical models such as the 120, 140, 175, 185, 200, 205, 228, 230, 260, 350 series and SKI competition models.
OMC/Johnson/Evinrude Compatibility
The seal is also compatible with outboard motors and inboard systems from OMC, Johnson and Evinrude that share the equivalent crankshaft architecture.
