Description

The 60252A2 manifold cover (reference REC60252A2) is an essential component of the MerCruiser engine cooling system. It is a hermetically sealed piece that integrates the function of conduction and distribution of the coolant flow in the water collector, guaranteeing the tightness of the circuit and avoiding leaks that would compromise the thermal performance of the engine.

This component is critical to maintaining proper coolant pressure and circulation. Its deterioration or damage can lead to loss of cooling efficiency, cavitation in the water pumps and accelerated corrosion of the internal circuits of the engine.
