Function and technical context

Grez-off is a high-performance marine degreaser specially formulated to remove grease deposits, oil, charred dirt and organic residue accumulated in outboard, inboard and boat auxiliary engines. It acts on the exterior and interior maintenance system of the engine, penetrating difficult-to-access areas such as cylinder heads, crankcases, exhaust manifolds and engine compartments where grease contamination compromises both visual inspection and the correct functioning of the components. Its concentrated formulation allows it to effectively dissolve hardened grease without damaging metal surfaces, joints or technical plastics common in shipbuilding. Keeping the engine clean of greasy deposits makes it easier to detect oil or coolant leaks early, extends the life of components and reduces the risk of fire in the engine compartment.

When to use this product?

It is recommended to apply Grez-off degreaser at the beginning and end of each nautical season, as well as after any oil, fuel or hydraulic fluid spill in the engine compartment. Symptoms that indicate the need for a thorough cleaning include visible blackish grease buildup on the engine block, burning oil smells while cruising, or difficulty identifying the source of small leaks due to accumulated dirt.
