The thru-hull is a watertight closure element that passes through the hull of the boat to allow the evacuation of water from the bilge, bilge, cockpit drain or cooling outlet, maintaining the structural integrity of the hull at the point of penetration. Made of highly resistant marine corrosion-resistant plastic, this 1-inch through-hull is designed for installations where the metal could be affected by electrolysis or saline environment. When to replace this part?
