Function and technical context

This naval bronze T-junction with three female threaded mouths (pipe tee F.F.F.) is used in marine plumbing installations to divide or gather flows in seawater, fresh cooling water, bilge or sanitary services circuits on board. The naval bronze alloy guarantees superior corrosion resistance in saline environments, making it the usual technical choice over ferrous materials or low-density polymers when the installation is subjected to continuous pressure or engine vibrations. By distributing the flow to three branches with 1 1/4" female thread, it allows pipes, hoses or valves from different circuits to be integrated into a single connection node, simplifying the hydraulic layout and reducing independent sealing points.
