Function and technical context

This 5/8" fuel filter acts as a protective barrier in the fuel supply circuit, intercepting impurities, suspended particles, sediments and water before they reach the carburetor or injectors. It works within the fuel supply system, located between the tank and the engine, guaranteeing that the flow of petrol or diesel reaches the powertrain clean and free of contaminants. A clogged or deteriorated filter reduces the fuel flow, causes drops in performance, difficult starts and can even damage more sensitive and expensive components of the injection or carburetion system.

When to replace this part?
