Function and technical context

This specialized tool is designed to facilitate the installation and removal of the trim and tilt piston on outboard engines, allowing you to work with the 1/2" (6 mm) measurement precisely and safely. The trim and tilt system regulates the inclination of the engine with respect to the transom, being a critical hydraulic assembly for performance, maneuverability and protection of the propulsion group. Disassembling or assembling the piston without the appropriate tool can cause damage to the internal components of the trim cylinder, deformations in the sealing seats or hydraulic leaks that render the system unusable.
