Function and technical context

The trim motor is the electric actuator responsible for tilting and regulating the angle of the outboard motor with respect to the transom, allowing the performance of the boat to be optimized according to the navigation conditions and the load. It works within the engine's hydraulic-electric trim and trim system, converting the electrical signal from the push button into mechanical movement to raise or lower the unit.
