STATOR MERCURY 398-9610A14
The stator is the stator component of the alternator that generates the magnetic field necessary for the production of electric current in Mercruiser engines. This 40 amp replacement is designed for Mercury engines 135 hp and up with 6-cylinder configuration, ensuring proper charging of the marine electrical system during operation.
This is a critical piece for the operation of the charging system. Its wear or failure prevents the battery from being recharged during navigation, compromising the availability of electrical energy on board.
