This hydraulic pump kit constitutes the heart of the Power Trim system on medium and large displacement Mercury engines. The pump generates the hydraulic pressure necessary to operate the trim cylinders, allowing the angle of inclination of the tiller to be varied electrically and precisely during navigation. It is an integral part of the hydraulic maneuvering circuit and is essential to maintain stability control and fuel efficiency in different sea conditions and speed. A failure in this pump causes a total loss of trim capacity, severely limiting maneuverability and compromising navigation safety.
When to replace this part?
