The NGK BKR6ES-11 spark plug is the component responsible for generating the electric spark that ignites the air-fuel mixture inside the cylinders of outboard and stationary petrol engines. It works in the engine ignition system, operating in a high temperature and pressure environment within the combustion chamber. Its correct operation is decisive to achieve complete and efficient combustion: a spark plug in poor condition causes misfires, excessive fuel consumption, notable loss of power and difficulty starting the engine, especially when cold.
