Liquid metal polish is a marine maintenance chemical product designed to clean, polish and protect metal surfaces exposed to the corrosive agents of the marine environment: salt, humidity, oxidation and limescale deposits. It acts on metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper and chrome, restoring shine and creating a protective layer that slows down surface degradation. It is commonly used in propellers, shafts, hardware, couplings, engine casings and any metal component that requires a restoration of the finish and a barrier against marine corrosion. Unlike solid abrasive polishes, the liquid formulation facilitates uniform application and access to complex geometries typical of nautical machinery.

When to use this product?

The need for polishing is detected when metals show rust stains, heat discoloration, salt deposits or visible loss of surface shine, signs that the protection has given way and corrosion is progressing. It is recommended to apply the liquid metal polish at least once a season, coinciding with the boat's docking or tune-up checks, and always after prolonged periods of use in salt water. Incorporating metal polishing and protection into regular preventive maintenance prevents structural degradation of expensive parts and extends the life of the hardware assembly and exposed metal components.
