The 21-80727M check valve plays a vital role in the fuel and cooling circuits of Mercury, Mariner and Mercruiser marine engines. Its main function is to allow the unidirectional flow of fluids, preventing unwanted reflux from occurring that could compromise the integrity of the hydraulic system. By maintaining circuit pressure within the correct parameters, you protect upstream components from possible backpressure damage and ensure that fluid flows only in the intended direction.
When to replace this part?
